Axe Throwing
Channel your inner lumberjack with an onsite axe-throwing session in the heart of the Pacific Northwest. Teams will have the chance to learn the proper technique, take a few practice throws, then turn up the competition as teammates go head-to-head to see who can hit the bullseye.
Whitewater Rafting
Trade calm waters for rapids on a guided whitewater rafting trip through the Columbia River Gorge region. With an experienced guide leading the way, teams will paddle, communicate, and work together through stretches of rushing water for an adventure that’s hard to forget.

Stevenson puts teams right in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge, surrounded by mountains, forests, waterfalls, and the river itself. It’s adventurous and remote-feeling while still being less than an hour from Portland.
May through September is ideal for warmer weather and the widest range of outdoor experiences. Summer is especially great for rafting, windsurfing, hiking, and spending time along the Columbia River.
Most groups fly into Portland International Airport (PDX), approximately 45 minutes from the lodge. Wilder can coordinate group transportation between the airport and Stevenson.
Beyond the featured adventures, teams can explore nearby waterfalls, hike through the Gorge, kayak or paddleboard, take an e-bike ride, play golf, or visit local wineries and breweries.
Yes. Skamania Lodge offers 22,000+ square feet of indoor meeting space, along with outdoor gathering areas overlooking the Gorge. Teams can easily move between meetings, meals, and time outdoors throughout the retreat.
