Charleston is easy to reach, walkable and full of character. Teams can meet in a historic building, eat some of the best food in the South and be on the water or the beach within minutes. It feels like a real escape without long travel days.
It depends on your group. The Restoration has 54 suite-style rooms in the Historic District and a rooftop for events, a strong fit for smaller teams that want a boutique feel. The Sanctuary has 255 rooms on the beach at Kiawah Island with more than 20,000 square feet of indoor meeting space, best for teams that want a resort by the ocean. The Charleston Place has 434 rooms off King Street and a 20,000-square-foot ballroom, so it suits the largest groups. We’ll recommend the best fit for your group size, goals and budget.
March through May and October through early December bring warm days and comfortable evenings. Summer is hot and humid, with afternoon storms, and hurricane season runs June through November. Winter is mild and quiet, with lower rates.
