Frequently asked questions
Montenegro has dramatic scenery, excellent seafood and wine, and far fewer crowds than Croatia or Italy. The coast is compact, so teams can meet in the morning and be sailing, hiking or tasting wine within the hour.
It depends on your group and goals. Hotel Splendido is a restored waterfront hotel in Prčanj with 43 rooms and a meeting room for about 40, best as a buyout for a smaller team. The Chedi Luštica Bay has 111 rooms on a marina about 20 minutes from Tivat Airport, a strong fit for groups of 100 on a moderate budget. One&Only Portonovi is a five-star resort near Herceg Novi with a large spa and private beach, best for leadership teams and incentive trips. We’ll recommend the best fit for your group size, goals and budget.
May, June and September are ideal, with warm sea temperatures and fewer visitors. July and August are hot and busy, and October still brings mild days and good rates.
Fly into Tivat (TIV), which sits on the Bay of Kotor, or Dubrovnik (DBV) in Croatia, about an hour from Herceg Novi. Most US travelers connect through a major European hub such as London, Frankfurt, Vienna or Istanbul. We arrange all transfers, including the border crossing from Dubrovnik.
Yes. Many groups add a night in Dubrovnik, and others continue to Split or the Croatian islands, or head inland to Lake Skadar and Durmitor National Park.
Beyond the experiences above, we can arrange sea kayaking to the Blue Cave, a boat to Perast and Our Lady of the Rocks, olive oil tastings, hiking in Durmitor and a private tour of Kotor Old Town.
Yes. The Chedi and One&Only Portonovi can host larger events, and we can split a group across nearby hotels on the bay and bring everyone together for sessions and dinners.
Yes. Waterfront terraces, marina decks and beach clubs all work for sessions and dinners from May through October.
Yes. The cooking class, catamaran sail and wine road need no experience, and ATV guides coach first-time riders. There is always an easier option.
