It depends on your group. Shangri-La Yanuca Island is a 443-room private-island resort on the Coral Coast, the strongest fit for large teams and families. Six Senses Fiji on Malolo Island has 24 pool villas and 60 residences, a good match for leadership teams that want privacy. Nanuku Resort in Pacific Harbour has 37 suites and villas and sits closest to the Navua River and Beqa Lagoon. Many groups split the stay between two venues.
May through October is the dry season, with lower humidity, cooler evenings and calm water for boat days. November through April is warmer and wetter and falls within cyclone season, so we build weather backups into every itinerary in those months.
Most groups fly into Nadi International Airport (NAN), which has direct flights from Los Angeles and San Francisco and connections through Australia and New Zealand. Shangri-La Yanuca Island is about an hour by road, Six Senses Fiji is a 30-minute boat or 10-minute flight from Denarau, and Nanuku is a 30-minute scenic flight or about 2.5 hours by road.
Yes. Shangri-La Yanuca Island has 443 rooms and 40,000 square feet of meeting space across 10 rooms, with space for up to 1,000 guests. For smaller groups, Six Senses Fiji and Nanuku offer a more private, exclusive setting.
A sevusevu is a traditional Fijian welcome ceremony. Visitors present kava root to the village chief, and the village shares a bowl of kava in return. It is a respectful way to be welcomed into a community, and our local hosts guide your team through every step.
Beyond the featured experiences, teams can snorkel or dive Beqa Lagoon, zipline through the rainforest, sail a catamaran at sunset, visit the Sabeto mud pools and hot springs, or spend a day on a private sandbank in the Mamanucas.
We can plan a lovo feast cooked in a traditional earth oven, a village lunch after a sevusevu, a kokoda (Fijian ceviche) class with a local chef or a private beach dinner under the stars.
Yes. Island days, river trips and village visits make it easy to step away from screens. We can build in phone-free time on the water while keeping meeting rooms connected for the sessions that need it.
Bring light clothing, swimwear, reef-safe sunscreen, a hat, water shoes and a light rain jacket. For village visits, pack a sulu (sarong) or clothing that covers shoulders and knees. U.S. visitors can enter visa-free for short stays, and we send every team a packing list before the trip.
