It depends on your group. Tenaya at Yosemite has 352 rooms, cottages and cabins on 75 acres two miles from the south entrance, with 15,000 square feet of meeting space, so it suits the largest teams. Rush Creek Lodge has 143 rooms and villas on 20 wooded acres near the Big Oak Flat entrance on Highway 120, a strong fit for mid-size groups coming from the Bay Area. AutoCamp Yosemite has 108 Airstreams, cabins and tents in Midpines, with a small meeting room and plenty of outdoor space for teams that want something more casual. We’ll recommend the best fit for your group size, goals and budget.

May and June bring the strongest waterfalls and mild weather. September and October are quieter, with warm days and fewer crowds. July and August are the busiest months. Winter brings snow at higher elevations and some road closures, but lower rates and a quiet park.

Most groups fly into Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT), about 90 minutes from Tenaya and the south entrance. San Francisco (SFO), Oakland (OAK) and San Jose (SJC) are about 3.5 to 4 hours away, and Rush Creek Lodge is the closest option from the Bay Area. Yosemite has used timed-entry reservations during some peak seasons. Guests with lodging reservations often have easier access, and rules change from year to year. Wilder checks the current requirements and handles park entry for your group.
