Why choose Mont Tremblant for a corporate retreat

Mont Tremblant pairs a real mountain with a walkable village. The pedestrian village has dozens of restaurants and a free gondola, so teams walk from meetings to dinner to the lifts without a bus. Winter brings 102 ski trails, snowshoeing and dog sledding, while summer and fall bring Lac Tremblant, golf, mountain biking and the Diable River. It sits about 90 minutes from Montreal-Trudeau (YUL) and feels a world away from the office.

As a remote team, it's important for us to create an intentional space for us to come together and connect as more than co-workers. We believe there's no better way to do that than in nature and Wilder Retreats helped us do just that.

We've worked with Wilder Retreats on over three retreats now and it's been the best experience ever. They have great locations in their pocket, work closely with you on budget and details, and are always a step ahead with planning. I don't know how we'd execute on our team offsites without them!

Wilder Retreats ran our firmwide offsite this year. It was clear we had a true partner in Wilder. From the earliest planning chats through the final goodbye for the airport, our Wilder Retreats team was responsive, organized, and upbeat, so much so that our own staff who worked with them to plan could simply enjoy the retreat instead of juggling logistics. The result was a relaxed, engaging few days where people could focus on connecting with colleagues and re‑energizing for the year ahead. We came away feeling both cared for and confident that we’d choose Wilder Retreats again without hesitation!

Wilder Retreats presented, organized and executed a company retreat in Big Sky for us. The details were communicated in a timely manner both prior to the event and during. Our group had an amazing time! I would highly recommend Wilder Retreats.

Mont Tremblant retreat questions

Frequently asked questions

What makes Mont Tremblant a good fit for a corporate retreat?

Mont Tremblant combines a real mountain with a walkable, car-free village. Teams get outdoor experiences in every season, great dining and plenty of time together, all about 90 minutes from Montreal.

Should we stay at the Fairmont, the Westin or Quintessence?

It depends on your group and goals. Fairmont Tremblant sits at the base of the mountain with 300+ rooms and 22,000 sq ft of meeting space, best for large groups. Le Westin Tremblant has 122 suites in the village, steps from the gondola, a good fit for 40 to 120 people. Hôtel Quintessence is a 30-suite boutique hotel on Lac Tremblant with a lakefront spa and wine cellar, ideal as a buyout for a leadership team.

What is the best time of year for a retreat in Mont Tremblant?

June through October is ideal for hiking, mountain biking, paddling and fall color. December through March brings skiing, dog sledding and snowshoeing. Spring is the quietest and best value.

How do we get to Mont Tremblant?

Fly into Montreal-Trudeau (YUL), about 90 minutes by coach. Private flights can land at Mont-Tremblant International (YTM), about 40 minutes away, with customs on site. We handle all ground transfers.

Do we need passports?

Yes. Everyone flying into Canada needs a valid passport. Prices on the ground are in Canadian dollars, and English is widely spoken at the resort.

Can Mont Tremblant host groups of more than 100 people?

Yes. Fairmont Tremblant’s largest ballroom seats up to 950, and the village has several other large event venues.

Can we hold meetings outdoors?

Yes, in summer and fall. We use terraces and lakeside spaces, with an indoor room held as a backup.

What other experiences can Wilder organize in Mont Tremblant?

Teams can unwind at the Scandinave Spa, cruise Lac Tremblant, zipline from the summit, spend an evening at the casino or share a traditional meal at a sugar shack.

Are activities suitable for all fitness levels?

Yes. Every experience has an easier option, and paddling, snowshoeing and dog sledding need no experience.

How much does a Mont Tremblant corporate retreat cost?

Most retreats run $750 to $1,500 per person per day, depending on the venue, season, group size and experiences. The sample pricing above shows what three nights could cost at each venue, and we’ll build a custom proposal for your team.
