Whistler combines mountain adventure with a walkable village. Teams can meet, play and dine without getting in a car, and the setting works year-round, from summer biking and paddling to world-class winter skiing.
It depends on your group and goals. Fairmont Chateau Whistler has 519 rooms and about 32,000 square feet of meeting space at the base of Blackcomb, best for large groups that want a full resort. Summit Lodge is a boutique hotel with 81 suites in the village, ideal for teams of up to about 50 that want a relaxed, personal feel. Hilton Whistler Resort has 287 rooms steps from the gondolas, a strong fit for groups of 100 on a moderate budget. We’ll recommend the best fit for your group size, goals and budget.
June through September brings warm days for biking, hiking, ziplining and time on the lakes. December through March is ski season. Spring and fall are quieter, with lower rates and fewer crowds.
Fly into Vancouver International (YVR), about two hours by coach on the Sea to Sky Highway. Floatplane and helicopter transfers are also available. US travelers need a valid passport. We handle all ground transfers.
Yes. Many teams add a night in Vancouver before or after Whistler for dinners, a harbor cruise or time in Stanley Park.
Beyond the featured experiences, teams can ride the Peak 2 Peak Gondola, paddleboard Alta Lake, soak at Scandinave Spa, go heli-skiing in winter or snowmobile the alpine backcountry in winter.
Yes. Fairmont Chateau Whistler can host several hundred people in ballrooms of more than 11,000 square feet, and the Whistler Conference Centre is in the village.
Yes. In summer and early fall we use terraces and lawns with mountain views for sessions and receptions, with an indoor room held as a backup.
Yes. The zipline, forage-to-table and First Nations cultural experiences need no experience, and mountain biking is guided for every level. There is always an easier option.
Bring layers, since mountain weather changes quickly, plus hiking shoes, a rain jacket and a warm layer for evenings. In winter, bring a heavy coat, hat, gloves and boots. US travelers need a passport.
